Today is the fifth time I have watched it.

The context - A great boxer lost it all during the Great Depression. It's a great comeback story, about determination, our values in life and how we should believe our instincts.

Maybe we don't even know if our instincts are real. We don't even know if we should believe in it ourselves. Cos there're just so many ppl out there who love to bring us down. who don't believe in us. For whatever reasons. They just love to throw the wet blanket. For whatever reason.

I always feel that whatever problem that i am facing now, whatever situation that am facing now, no matter how difficult, it's nothing actually. There are so insignificant.

Courage and guts. We need it during this tough period.

It's time to focus on what's important now.

While slumdog is a great love story, Cinderella man is about survival. It's about having the courage and determination to do what is necessary. Nonetheless, it's also about a wife's devotion, trust, faith and belief in her husband's capabilities. It's touching to see how she fights with herself to support her husband's.

it's also interesting how James J. Braddock's manager motivated him before the fights. I guess everybody needs someone to motivate them once in a while. Cos we're only human.Even if you're a man. A fighter. You can be weak at times. It's horrible how some people just can't understand that point.

Sigh.
